Les Tours De Beaumont 2016

Lying almost exactly half way between Margaux and Pauillac, Château Beaumont has more than 100 hectares under vine, unusually in one block, and produces incredibly consistent wines year on year; not for nothing are the wines so well loved in the UK. Their second wine, Tours de Beaumont, offers a delicious introduction to the grand vin, and the 2016 in particular is hugely successful.

Almost half and half Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this has delicious blackcurrant fruit backed up with supple tannins and a lovely mineral finish.
