This is a tasty and generous Moscato d'Asti. A lovely sensation of fullness and creaminess in the mouth.
Nice little and delicate bubbles. A floral aroma with notes of pear and apple.
Of the 52 towns that can bear the designation Moscato DOCG, only 22 are included in the prestigious
subzone “Canelli”, where Moscato has been grown since the 13th century. Only grapes grown above the
mandatory 165 meters can be made into Moscato d'Asti DOCG Canelli.
The wine house:
The Germano Angelo winery established itself with its own vineyard in 1908. Over the years,
the house has been passed down from father to son. The vineyards stretch over three municipalities,
La Morra, Monforte and Barolo. The traditional grapes Nebiolo, Dolchetto and Barbera are grown,
as well as the white Chardonnay. The young vincomet, Davide, is the youngest member of the tribe.
A fantastic winemaker who has studied oenology in Alba. The vinification takes place using the latest
technological principles as well as great care and love for the wines. Single fields are held in the
best terroirs such as Mondoca Bussia in Barolo and Villa Giovine which carries DOC Alba.
Germano Angelo's wines have become more and more recognized over time and are today among the top
qualities in the Langhe.
