Located in the village of Savigny-lès-Beaune, this plot (monopoly), which
is next to our cellars, belongs to the Domaine and could undoubtedly claim the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation…. Tiny, this is an old vine (more than 45 years).
Traditional harvest. Aged in French oak for 12 Months. Chalky and limestone soils.
TASTING
Clear and brilliant golden color. The elegant nose expresses nuances slightly lemony as well as sweet almond. The mouth is powerful,
with good acidity. It reveals a certain personality; quite powerful for a Burgundy Chardonnay which also stands out for its persistence on the palate. We also find small hazelnuts and a woody melted which ends the tasting on very light spices.
This wine goes well with all shellfish (Saint Jacques), grilled fish (red mullet, sea bream) or served with sauces which are not too spicy.
